Walking around the city

WALKING IN THE CITY

Tver is an ancient Russian city between Moscow and St. Petersburg, which differs not only from the capital, but also from most other Russian cities located on the Volga. Tver has its own special story. To learn it, it’s enough just to be in Tver and walk on its historical streets, boulevards and embankments.

Tver is the first Russian city to stand on the Volga. It is in these parts that the great Russian river originates. Therefore, the Volga in Tver is not wide, it divides the city into two equal parts and runs along the border of the historical center. From here one can go either way: everywhere the parks, squares, the old building of the Catherine’s epoch. It is better to start your path in the center – between two bridges.

Have a wonderful video tour of the city and come to Tver!
